The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondents police for alleged offences punishable under Sections 34 & 420 of IPC, in Cr.No.31 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and other running a company in the name and style of 'Unity Byte Company' and doing with Bitcoin business, for which the petitioners published the advertisement through social media. Thereafter, the defacto complainant along with the victims came to Salem District and participated in a seminar conducted by the petitioner's company. Further, a sum of Rs.14,00,000/- was paid to the third and fourth accused. The said amount was invested in Bitcoins. However, the benefit did not reach the complainant and victims. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that false complaint has been given against the petitioners and they have nothing to do with the said allegations. He further submitted that Interstate Anticipatory bail may be granted to them to enable them to move the appropriate jurisdictional Court in Chattisgarh for necessary relief.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant inter-state interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners for a period of four weeks from today to enable them to move the concerned Court.

5. Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioners for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioners shall execute a separate bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) (each) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within four weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioners shall approach the competent Court in Chattisgarh and seek appropriate relief. Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners.
