This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner in Survey No.70/4, Kondappanaikenpatty Village, Salem District or any other suitable place based on the proposal of the 5th respondent in Na.Ka.No.5289/2012 (B6) dated 04.07.2012.
2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that she does not have own land or house in her name, she sent various representations for allocation of free housing patta to the authorities. Based on the representations, the fifth respondent submitted a proposal in Na.Ka.No.5289/2012 (B6) dated 04.07.2012 to the third respondent for allocation of free house patta to the petitioner along with 96 persons, which is pending without consideration till date. The petitioner along with others also submitted representation in this regard on 28.08.2023. Hence, seeks directions. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the fifth respondent has identified the area for issuance of patta and the matter is pending with the third respondent/District Collector.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials 2/4
available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents 3 and 5 are directed to complete the process and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
