Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent authority to give permission and protection to conduct the dance program at Mari Amman Koil Thirivizha festival on 27.6.2015 at Maruthathoor, Melur Post, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the organizer of temple festival of Mari Amman Koil situated at Maruthathoor, Melur Post, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District and she submitted an application dated 22.06.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cultural programme which includes song and dance programme to be held on 27.06.2015 and since she has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Ms.J.Vennila, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court without going into the merits of the application/ representation made by the petitioner directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2015 in accordance with law and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner by 27.06.2015. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
