Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2018 and also to inform the action taken particulars to the petitioner as directed by the 2nd respondent's letter dated 10.08.2018 and issue a Legal Heirship Certificate to the petitioner within a time frame. Mr.J.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on her representation dated 31.07.2018, wherein and whereby, she sought for issuance of a Legal Heirship Certificate of her deceased father viz., Kuppusamy.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though she made a representation on 31.07.2018, seeking for issuance of legal heirship certificate of her deceased father viz., Kuppusamy, who died on 11.04.2017, the third respondent has not considered the said representation so far.
4. Heard both sides.
5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
