The petitioner come up with this writ petition for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for incentive increments for acquiring higher qualification as per G.O.Ms.No.42, Education dated 10.01.1969 and in the light of the judgment made in W.A.(MD)No.529 of 2007 dated 14.05.2008.

2. When the writ petition was taken for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider his representation dated 03.12.2014, within a time frame.
3. In view of the narrow prayer now made, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.12.2014 on merits and as per law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
