Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for all the records relating to absorption of the Contract Employees with retrospective effect and subsequent Seniority Lists issued by the respondents including (1) the latest Seniority list of cadre of managers issued by the 4th respondent vide No. O.O.No. 067/CMRL/HR/ESTT/2016 dated 18.02.2016 and (2) Replies given by the 4th respondent for the representations of the petitioner in Ref.No. CMRL/HR/Estt/ 2016 dated 24.06.2016 and to quash the same consequently to direct the 1st respondent to arrange to revise the Seniority List of the cadre/designation of Managers following the principle of placing the appointees selected earlier on regular basis as senior to those selected later as stipulated in paragraphs 2.11.3 and 2.12 of HR Manual applicable to CMRL and to re-fix the seniority of the petitioner no.4 or at the relevant position in the cadre of Managers as per rules.

ORDER

Let me put a quietus to this litigation, after a report has been filed by the respondents / CMRL, who has forwarded to this Court. 2.

The seniority of the petitioner, who was working as Manager (Revenue) Operations Department, Chennai Metro Rail Limited, has been fixed at Sl.No.13 in the post of Manager. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the issue raised has been addressed. This Court shall taken on record the 2/4

representation across the Bar. Nothing further remains for adjudication in this writ petition.

In view of above, writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
