ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's statutory revision petition dated 12.04.2021.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, initially, the Tahsildar passed an order dated 06.06.2013 rejecting the petitioner's claim. Subsequently, the Revenue Divisional Officer had passed an order dated 02.03.2021, whereby he confirmed the above order passed by Tahsildar. Aggrieved over the same, a statutory revision petition dated 21.04.2021 has been filed by the petitioner. However, the said petition was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's statutory revision petition will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 12 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the statutory revision petition of the petitioner dated 21.04.2021 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
