Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order Memo No.BCDFGISSSV 232/2018 dated 16.04.2018 passed by the second respondent under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue Dharma S/o.Adarath, male aged 35 years, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set the detenue Dharma S/o.Adarath, male aged 35 years at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu, Dharma S/o.Adarath, who has been branded as "Goonda" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in BCDFGISSSV No.232/2018 dated 16.04.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the husband of the petitioner in BCDFGISSSV No.232/2018 dated 16.04.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.2154, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 01.06.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
