... Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the orders of this Court made in W.P. No.6845 of 2018 dated 26.03.2018.

O R D E R
When the matter is taken up for hearing, by placing a proceeding dated 05.06.2018, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that a direction to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer was taken up for consideration https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and finally, taking note of the fact that there was no vacancy available in the Government Medical College and Hospital, Thirunelveli, the request of the petitioner has been rejected. The said proceeding clearly says that the petitioner has to take part in the general transfer counselling and while doing so, the petitioner has to make out her case for transfer.
2.Since the respondents are holding transfer counselling to consider the transfer, this Court is inclined to close this petition as nothing further survives for adjudication. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
