By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the President of Mahasakthi Mariamman Ilaignar Narpani Mandram, Mel Theru, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District. He submitted an application on 23.06.2015 to the second respondent praying for permission to conduct song and dance programme to be held on 22.07.2015 and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct and song and dance programme, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Ramesh Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 5.This Court, without going into merits of the representation/application, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/application dated 23.06.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 20.07.2015 and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
