Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds either as office Assistant or any other suitable post befitting to his educational qualification pursuant to the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.9209/2012/P2 dated 27.06.2014 on the file of the second respondent and in the light of the representation dated 04.08.2014 submitted by the petitioner's mother.

The petitioner is the legal representative of Thiru.N.Bhaskaran, who worked as Plot Watcher in Forest Department. The father of the petitioner died in harness on 15.11.2013. The petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment. The second respondent by proceedings dated 10.12.2013 directed the petitioner to submit requisite documents. The petitioner submitted all the documents. Thereafter, by proceedings dated 27.06.2014, the second respondent called upon the mother of the petitioner to furnish certain details. Those details were also furnished. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondents, resulting in filing this writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner for compassionate appointment in the light of the proceedings dated 10.12.2013 and 27.06.2014 and on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
