Adayalampattu, Maduravoyal, Chennai 600 095, which is causing excessive noise pollution and structural damage to the petitioner's house in violation of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 2nd respondent to take immediate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 26.02.2026 and to stop the construction activity being carried on by the 3rd respondent at their campus situated in the Service Road, EVR Periyar Saalai, Adayalampattu, Maduravoyal, Chennai 600 095, which is causing excessive noise pollution and structural damage to the petitioner's house in violation of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000. 2.

The learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that on the complaint dated 26.02.2026 made by the petitioner, CSR.No.97 of 2026 was issued. Thereafter, the police officer concerned conducted a detailed

enquiry and at the end of the enquiry, it was decided to close the said complaint. As such, the said complaint was closed. 3.

In view of the above submission, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
