ORDER

Since the issue involved and the relief sought for in these Writ Petitions, are identical in nature, the same were heard together and disposed of, by way of this common order.

The case of the petitioners is that they purchased properties in Survey Nos.76/7, 156/4A1 and 156/2B3A of an extent of 1400 sq. ft., 1001 1⁄4 sq. ft., 883 sq. ft., respectively, situated at Kovilur (M), Jamnamarathur Village, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District vide Document Nos.4229/2011, 898/2005 and 450/2013 in the respective writ petitions. Thereafter, the petitioners are in possession and enjoyment of the said properties. Further, the petitioners had obtained electricity service connection and paid the necessary house tax service charge. While so, the petitioners have made representations on 02.02.2022, 03.02.2022 and 09.02.2022 before the respondents, seeking for issuance of Patta in favour of the petitioners. As the said representations made by the petitioners has evoked no response from the respondents, the petitioners have filed the present Writ Petitions seeking the aforesaid relief.

Though very grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 02.02.2022, 03.02.2022 and 09.02.2022 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has no objection for said order being passed.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case,

directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 02.02.2022, 03.02.2022 and 09.02.2022, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as aggrieved persons if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
