O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking Mandamus to consider the petitioner's application for the Ph.D Research programme conducted by the Open University for the academic year January 2019.

2. Pending writ petition, the 4th respondent has considered the application and the application has been rejected based on the academic merits and the interview performance. The same has been communicated vide letter dated 05.08.2019.

3. In the light of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is dismissed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the rejection of his application, he is at liberty to challenge the same. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
