ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking interest for terminal benefits to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

3. The respondent may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether the terminal benefits had been paid with delay and if it had been paid with delay, pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
