Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representations dated 11.02.2025 and 16.02.2025 for grant of patta by way of assignment or lease in respect of 11 cents in S.F.No.390 classified as Tharisu Waste Land and Government Poramboke Mamandur Village, Madhuranthagam Taluk, Chengalpet District for continued use of the Goshala.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for grant of patta by way of assignment or by way of lease with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.S.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the grievance expressed by the petitioner and also taking note of the written instructions received from the sixth respondent to the effect that survey No.388/1 has been classified as 'Arasu Punsei Tharisu' and Survey No.390 has been classified as 'Arasu Nansei Tharisu', there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 11.02.2025 in line with G.O.Ms.No.97, dated 21.02.2025 and appropriate orders shall be passed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
