Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2. This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to register a case on the complaint dated 11.03.2015. On a perusal of the complaint dated 11.03.2015, it has been addressed to the Hon'ble Chief Minister and not to the Station House Officer. Under Section 154 Cr.P.C., the Chief Minister is not a Station House Officer and complaint ought to have been given to the Station House Officer.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the earlier complaint has been given on 17.09.2011 and no action was taken by the Police. However, in this petition, the prayer is for a direction to take action on the complaint dated 11.03.2015.

5. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
