Go Fashion (India) Limited v. Asp Trading Corporation
A.Nos.1897 & 1898 of 2024 in C.S.(Comm Div) No.13 of 2024 P.VELMURUGAN , J., Application No.1897 of 2024 has been filed to delete the name of the second defendant in the Suit in C.S.No.13 of 2024 and substitute Flipkart Internet Private Limited, as second defendant in the said Suit.
2. Application No.1898 of 2024 has been filed to delete the name of the third defendant in the Suit in C.S.No.13 of 2024 and substitute Amazon Seller Services Private Limited as third defendant in the suit.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the applications, the applications are ordered.
4. The plaintiff is directed to carryout necessary amendment in the plaint and file the amended copy of the same.
5. List the matter on 23.04.2024.

6. While filing/receiving written statement, the Registry should be very careful and verify as to whether the written statement has been filed within 30 days from the date of receipt of summons by the defendant. In case, the written statement is filed after the expiry of 30 days, the Registry should not receive the same unless it is accompanied by an application for condonation of delay/extension of time. The said procedure should be adopted very carefully. Otherwise, the same will be viewed seriously and the staff concerned will have to face departmental proceedings.
