Mr.K.V.Dhanapalan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
2. With consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner is an Office Assistant in the Treasuries and Accounts Department. While he was working in Namakkal, he was placed under suspension by order dated 28.10.2013. A criminal case is pending against him alleging that the petitioner demanded and accepted Rs.200/- as bribe from one Mr.A.Radhakrishnan for passing the bills for subsistence allowance and dearness allowance arrears. He was placed under suspension along with the District Treasury Officer.

4. The petitioner made representation dated 08.12.2014 to review the suspension order and to restore him to duty.
5. Taking into account the fact that the petitioner belongs to the lowest cadre and also in the aforesaid circumstances of the case, I am inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner within a stipulated time.
6. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
