Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order bearing Ref.No. 22264/DSE/EL/P10/N-09/2007-08 dated 23.10.2008 readwith the Order bearing Ref.No.22264/DSE/EE/P10/N-09/2009-10 dated 24.06.2009 both Orders passed by the 2nd respondent granting recognition to 3rd respondent school and quash the same as being contrary to the Act and Rules and notice dated 13.11.2006 issued by the 1st respondent and direct the 3rd respondent to shift the school to some other locality. Prayer awarded as per Order dated 14.08.2009 in M.P.5 of 2009.

O R D E R

The petitioner challenges the recognition granted to the 3rd respondent to run the school.

When the matter is taken up today, learned counsel for the 3rd respondent would submit that the Government of Pondicherry, Directorate of School Education, has passed an order dated 25.08.2016 directing the 3rd respondent school not to admit students for the ensuing academic year and also to close down the said school, pursuant to which the said school has been closed. 3.

The copy of the order passed by the Government of Pondicherry dated 25.08.2016 is perused and the above submission made by the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent is hereby recorded.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition, since the school itself has been closed. The writ petition is accordingly closed. No costs. Sd/- Asst.Registrar (CS VIII ) /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar nv To 1.
