By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Arulmigu Periya Andavar temple, Chandrapuram Village and Post, Thirupattur Taluk, Vellore District and submitted an application dated 15.06.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct song and dance programme in connection with the temple festival to be held on 13.07.2015 and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct and song and dance programme, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Lakshmikanthan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.This Court, without going into merits of the representation/application, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/application dated 15.06.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 11.07.2015 and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
