Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent in C.No.31/G/IS/2020 dated 07.03.2020 against the detenu viz., K.Anandh, son of Kuppusamy, aged about 46 years, who is now confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter has become infructuous, inasmuch as, the period of detention has already expired.

In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
