Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed in WP.No.10573 of 2015 dated 13.07.2023. For Petitioner : Mr.P.Ganesan For Respondent : Mr.T.Chandrasekar Special Government Pleader.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 13.07.2023 passed by this Court in

W.P.No.10573 of 2015, thereby directing the respondent to include the petitioner's name for notional promotion to the post of Road Inspector Grade II and grant annual increment and all consequential benefits. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as directed by this Court, the petitioner was granted notional promotion by an order dated 24.08.2023. However, so far monetary benefits was not settled by the respondent.

Considering the above submission, the order passed by this Court has been complied with and no contempt is made out. It is open to the petitioner to submit separate representation to the respondent for monetary and other benefits.
