ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of certiorari calling for the records relating to an order of the second respondent/ the Superintendent Central Prison-2, Puzhal dated 14.03.2025 and quash the same.

2. The petitioner is now working as Chief Head Warder at Central Prison-2 at Puzhal in Chennai. An order of transfer had been issued to him on 14.03.2025 directing him to be transferred from Central Prison, Puzhal to Central Prison, Coimbatore. Complaining that the order of transfer was not served on him, the writ petition has been filed.

3. However, the records had been produced that the transfer order had actually been served and also that the relieving order had been passed by the first respondent.

4. It would only be appropriate that the petitioner abides by the said order and joins his new post at Central Prison at Coimbatore. If he has any

difficulties, he may give a representation in that regard. The respondents may examine the same in accordance with the procedures established. No further orders are required.
