This matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing mode.
2. Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 12.02.2020, wherein and whereby she requested the official respondents to arrange proper pathway to her village called Kukadapatti Village.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no proper pathway laid by the authorities to reach the said village and therefore, the local residents of such village are finding it very difficult to go out and come back to their village, day and day out. It appears that the representation made by the petitioner needs to be considered by the respondents without any further delay, as a pathway to the village is very basic requirement, if not already provided as claimed by the petitioner.
5. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2020 and pass orders on the same, after making local inspection and if the claim of the petitioner is found to be true, appropriate action shall be taken by the respondents to lay pathway to the said village at the earliest possible time. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
