This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the revision petitioner seeking for a direction to expedite the trial in O.P.No.1098 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned V Additional Family Court, Chennai. 1/4

2. According to the petitioner, O.P.No.1098 of 2020 was filed by the petitioner seeking divorce. The respondent has filed counter. The evidence on the side of the petitioner has been completed and the matter is posted for evidence on the side of the respondent. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent is trying to drag the matter in order to harass the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstance, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself, with a direction to the V Additional Family Court, Chennai to expedite trial and dispose of the O.P.No.1098 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, not later than four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. 21.04.2023 jai 2/4
