Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the first respondent in charge memo vide D1/PRNo.24/2008 dated 27.06.2008 and R.O.257/2008/CNo.B2/7184/08 dated 27.06.2008 and the consequential proceedings of the 2nd respondent D.O.796/08 C.No.D1/22336/08 dated 27.06.2008 and D.O.795/08 C.No.D1/22336/2008 dated 27.06.2008, followed by the proceedings of the first respondent in C.No.B2/PR31/08 dated 06.10.2008 and quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to superannuation with effect from 30.06.2008 and grant all concomitant benefits of retirement, pension, gratuity, provident fund and other reliefs attendant to retirement. The challenge in this writ petition is to the charge memo dated 27.06.2008 and the subsequent proceedings, whereby and where under, the petitioner was not permitted to retire from service.
2. According to the petitioner, the Enquiry Officer conducted enquiry and submitted a report long back. However, there was no follow up taken by the first respondent to conclude the proceedings.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the first respondent would conclude the disciplinary proceedings within a period of four months.

4. The first respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner on the basis of the charge memo dated 27.06.2008, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
