O R D E R

The present Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed to withdraw H.M.O.P.No.59 of 2019 on the file of the learned Family Court, Tirunelveli, and to transfer the same to the file of the learned Sub-Court, Poonamalle.

2. The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband. The above said H.M.O.P.No.59 of 2019 was filed by the respondent/husband on the file of the learned Family Court, Tirunelvi, seeking for divorce.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner/wife submitted that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 11.02.2018 as per the Hindus' Customs and Rites and after the marriage, they were living together at Mugalivakkam, Chennai. However, after few weeks of matrimonial life, the respondent/husband and his family members have started behaving strangely against her and besides, they were also demanding more dowry. As the petitioner/wife was unable to meet out their demands, all of a sudden, the respondent/husband filed the above said HMOP seeking for divorce. that since both the husband and wife are working in Chennai as IT Professionals, the above said cases filed by the respondent/husband may be transferred before the learned SubCourt, Poonamalle, for the convenience of the parties.

In view of the above, as the petitioner/wife and the respondent/husband are working in Chennai, for the convenience of the parties, this Court deems it fit to allow the prayer of the petitioner requesting transfer of the above said HMOP to the file of the learned Sub-Court, Poonamallee. Accordingly, H.M.O.P.No.59 of 2019 filed by the husband is withdrawn from the file of the learned Family Court, Tirunelveli, and consequently, transferred to the file of the learned Sub-Court, Poonamallee. On such transfer, the learned Sub Court, Poonamallee, shall dispose of the same in the manner known to law as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, the present Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected C.M.P.No.10276 of 2019 is closed.
