PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2018, to appoint a Committee of experts to enquire into the arbitrary selling price fixed by the 4th respondent and consequently take steps to fix reasonable procurement price from
Eggs producers and farmers and a appropriate selling price for Eggs to consumers in Tamil Nadu in the larger interest of the consumers.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2018, to appoint a Committee of experts to enquire into the arbitrary selling price fixed by the 4th respondent and consequently take steps to fix reasonable procurement price from Eggs producers and farmers and a appropriate selling price for Eggs to consumers in Tamil Nadu in the larger interest of the consumers.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the representation dated 29.07.2018 made by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the respondents, on merits.
4. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Advocate General, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered within a period of ten days.
5. Such statement is recorded. It is open to the authorities to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 29.07.2018 submitted by the petitioner, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
