This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.No.382/A1/2020 dated 30.05.2020 (wrongly noted as 31.01.2020 in the first page of the order) and to Quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to approve the promotion of the petitioner to the post of Page No.2 of 7
Headmaster of the fifth respondent school with effect from 01.06.2013 with consequential benefits and to approve the re-employment service rendered by the petitioner on superannuation till the end of the academic year on 31.05.2020 with consequential service benefits and other retirement benefits including regular pension in the post of Headmaster of the fifth respondent Middle School.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Head Mistress and all the benefits have been settled to her.
3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted a proceedings of the Block Educational Officer, Virudhachalam, vide Na.Ka.No.274/Aa4/2022 dated 26.12.2023, wherein it is stated that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Head Mistress with effect from 01.06.2013.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 further submitted a written instruction of Block Educational Officer, Page No.3 of 7
Virudhachalam vide Na.Ka.No.707/A2/2024, dated 07.11.2024, wherein it is stated that persuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.5709 of 2017 dated 13.10.2022, the petitioner was promoted as Head Mistress with effect from 01.06.2013 and all the benefits have been settled her.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel on either side, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
