This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to take proper action against the complaint preferred by the petitioner on 20.07.2015 before the respondents through registered post. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police against her husband and on the said complaint, the petition enquiry is pending.

4. Hence, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
