( Civil Appellate Jurisdiction ) Wednesday, the Fifth day of August Two Thousand Twenty PRESENT THE HON`BLE MR JUSTICE R.SUBBIAH and THE HON`BLE MR JUSTICE C.SARAVANAN CMP.No.7813 of 2020 IN CMA.No.1525 of 2019 Ms.MAMTA LODHA [ PETITIONER ] Vs MR.NARPAT CHAND LODHA [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to pass an order of interim direction directing the respondent to tpay a sum of Rs.12,41,000/- (Rupees twelve Lakhs Forty One Thousand only) towards arrears of interim maintenance and arrears of school fees upto 5th July 2020 (IN CMP.No.7813 of 2020) pending disposal of the present appeal (CMA.No.1525 of 2019).
Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.M.L.JOSEPH for M/S.CHENNAI LAW ASSOCIATES, Advocate for the petitioner and of Ms.KANMANI for Ms.AL.GANTHIMATHI, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking an interim direction directing respondent to pay a sum of Rs.12,41,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs and Forty One Thousand only) towards arrears of interim maintenance and arrears of school fees upto 05.07.2020, pending disposal of the present appeal.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner/appellant and learned counsel appearing for respondent. 3.Learned counsel appearing for petitioner/appellant submits that till date the respondent has not paid the arrears of interim maintenance of Rs.12,41,000/- and hence, he has no right to oppose the present appeal.

4. In response, learned counsel appearing for respondent
submits that the respondent will pay the entire arrears within a period of two weeks from today.
5. Considering the submissions made, this Court directs the respondent to pay the arrears of interim maintenance of Rs.12,41,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs and Forty One Thousand only) within a period of two weeks from today, to the petitioner/appellant.
