ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking suspension of the sentence imposed on the Petitioner/Appellant in Spl.S.C.No.89 of 2025 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, pending disposal of the above appeal. 2.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the Petitioner/Appellant submitted that the appeal is ready for final hearing and sought a short adjournment to advance his arguments. 3.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner/Appellant, this Court is of the opinion that the present miscellaneous petition has been filed only on the ground that the hearing of the main appeal may take some time. However, since the main appeal itself is to be taken up for hearing tomorrow (i.e., on 03.06.2026), no useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.

4.

Registry is directed to list the main appeal on 03.06.2026. 02-06-2026 (1/2) klt
