ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned auction held on 03.03.2026 and the consequential proceedings dated 05.03.2026 in relation to the allotment of shops in the newly constructed bus stand at Sholinghur.
2. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 4 to 7 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 4 to 7 is dispensed with by this Court. Page No.2 of 6
3. According to the petitioner, the aforesaid auction was not conducted in accordance with the auction rules dated 16.02.2026. According to the petitioner, the participants of the auction were in arrears of payment of property tax and therefore, as per the auction rules, they are not eligible to participate in the auction.
4. The above contentions of the petitioner is disputed by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent. He would submit that the participants were never in arrears of the property tax as claimed by the petitioner.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner disputes the abovesaid contentions. Therefore, he requests this Court to direct the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.03.2026 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. He would submit that for the present the petitioner is not challenging the impugned auction held on 03.03.2026, but may be granted liberty in case the petitioner succeeds in her representation, which has to be considered by the official respondents on merits and in accordance with law. 6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 04.03.2026 objecting the conduct of the impugned auction held on 03.03.2026 and the consequential proceedings, dated 05.03.2026 on the ground that the participants of the auction were in arrears of the payment of property tax, which is in violation of the auction rules, dated 16.02.2026, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
