ORDER

Heard Mr.M.Rajasekhar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks the following relief:- "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the petitioner prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of a writ, directing the respondent to return the document No.2426 of 2002 on the file of the respondent, as per the representation of petitioner dated 28.11.2013 to the petitioner and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice."

The learned Additional Government Pleader, on written instructions received from the respondent has submitted that in any event, order has been passed by this Court in C.M.A.No.2185 of 2006 and the respondent is ready to return the Document No.2426 of 2002 and the petitioner be directed to approach the respondent for return of the said document.

4. In the light of the said stand taken by the respondent, the petitioner is directed to approach the respondent along with the copy of this order, within a period of one week from today and the respondent shall release the said document, within two days therefrom.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, as stated above. No costs.
