It is represented by Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General and Mr.M.Padmanaban, learned counsel for the petitioner that the order passed in W.P.No.8917 of 2017 dated 20.10.2021 is carried in an appeal vide W.A.No.829 of 2024 and an interim stay has been granted by learned Division Bench of this Court.

2. In view of the same, this Contempt Petition cannot be proceeded further and accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to seek re-opening of the same in the event of his success in W.A.No.829 of 2024.
