We do not find any infirmity or illegality in the finding of the Principal Court of Sessions, Chennai, holding that U/s.44(1)(c) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, the application under the provision has to be filed before the Court which takes cognizance of the scheduled offence, and thereby rejecting the petition. As such, we endorse the finding of the Principal Court of Sessions, Chennai, that the applications ought to have been filed before the XIII Additional C.B.I Court, Chennai, which had taken cognizance of the scheduled offence. 2.This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [M.S.R, J.] [V.L.N, J.] 13.06.2025 kas Index: Yes/No To.
