Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent herein to consider the rectification application filed on 21.11.2021 under Section 84 of the TNVAT Act for the years 2011-12 to 2014-15, and dispose of the same in accordance with law and not initiate any revenue recovery proceedings till disposal of such rectification application.

ORDER

Mr.C.Harsha Raj, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. Hence, by consent expressed by both the parties, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2. Both parties agree that a quick disposal of the pending rectification application would suffice for a proper disposal of this matter. Hence, the petitioner is permitted to appear before the respondent authority on 13.06.2022 and the respondent is directed to hear the petitioner and pass orders on the rectification application filed on 21.11.2021 by the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter, in accordance with law.
