The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 19.09.2024 by which representation, the petitioner who is working as

Additional Sub Treasury Officer at Gobichettipalayam in Erode District seeks transfer to Kangeyam Taluk, Tiruppur District. In the representation, the petitioner has given the reasons why the petitioner seeks transfer.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. The respondent may examine the representation given by the petitioner and examine the vacancy position of Kangeyam and also examine whether the petitioner can be accommodated in the same in accordance with Rules and pass appropriate orders on the representation given within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
