(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Mr.S.T.S.Moorthy, learned Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 7.

2.The grievance made by the petitioner vide the present Public Interest Litigation is qua encroachment and construction on poramboke land in S.Nos.233/1, 254/1B, 2B and 3A, 254/4, 253/1B, 252/2, Melmanambedu Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District. The petitioner claims that he as well as other residents of the area have made representations, but to no avail, the last such representation is dated 14.08.2013 (page 42 of the typed set).

3.In view of the aforesaid, we direct the first respondent or his appointed nominee to carry out an inspection on the area and deal with the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2013 by a speaking order, after notice to all concerned.
