4. Upon considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is seen that the subject matter land is classified as vaari land and that the petitioner seeks for reclassification of the same as agricultural land and consequently for issuance of patta in respect of the said land by claiming that he is in possession and enjoyment of the same for long number of years. It is further seen that a representation to that effect was already sent by the petitioner on 25.05.2017. Therefore, it is for the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
