ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit in favour of the petitioner for the vehicle, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.

2.The petitioner had submitted an application with the respondent on 27.01.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.M.Shahjahan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's application, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by the Court. 5.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 27.01.2026 seeking for grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit in favour of the petitioner for the vehicle, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
