O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 21(1) of TNMMDR Act and Section 379 of IPC in Crime No. 604 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal transportation of six units of sand by using Tipper Lorry without valid licence. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not connected with the alleged offences and he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has been falsely implicated in the case. Hence, he prays to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of six units of sand. He would further submit that there are three previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking note of the facts and submissions made by the learned counsel, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
