ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent to pay interest for the belated payment of EPF Employee's Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Leave/Surrendered Earned Leave
2. Heard the learned counsel for the respondent.
3. The respondent may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether the aforesaid amount had been paid with delay and if so, pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement.
4. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
