O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records of the FIR No.238 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Shankar Nagar Police Station, Chennai 75 and quash the same pertaining to the petitioner/A1 in the FIR No.238 of 2019.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 3.It is seen that the petitioner was not in India on the date of occurrence. To that extent he also produce visa and passport. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear before the first respondent and produce all the relevant materials to show that on the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

occurrence the petitioner was not in India. On receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to verify the same and if the documents produced by the petitioner proceed the nonpresence of the petitioner on the date of occurrence, first respondent is directed to delete the name of the petitioner in the FIR and conduct an enquiry as against the other accused persons within a period of eight weeks and file a final report in Crime No.238 of 2019 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
