and consequentially to direct the respondents to disburse the petitioner's subsistence allowance from the date of suspension, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2024, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of suspension dated 01.09.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents have not paid the subsistence allowance and in any event, the petitioner was under the prolonged suspension.
3. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material records of the case.
4. When the matter was passed over, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions would submit that the
subsistence allowance has been duly paid and the same may be recorded.
5. It is seen from the records that already a charge memorandum has been issued on 05.09.2023. In view thereof, the interest of justice would be served if the disciplinary proceedings are directed to be completed within a time frame.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the disciplinary proceedings and pass final orders pursuant to the charge memorandum dated 05.09.2023, as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
