Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to register a case based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 27.02.2024 and to investigate into the matter and dispose of the same within the time frame and pass such further orders. The petitioner herein, alleging that the complaint dated 27.02.2024, has not been investigated, has filed the present writ petition seeking mandamus.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1, 2, 4 and 5 submitted that after sending his representation, the petitioner though called for an enquiry, had not participated in the enquiry and therefore, the 5th respondent police is unable to proceed further. 2/4

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will appear before the 5th respondent police on 24.04.2024 and produce all the necessary information regarding this complaint. On his appearance and production of the material, the 5th respondent police is directed to conduct the investigation and complete it as expeditiously as possible.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
