By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that his father was in possession of 1.34 cents of land comprised in Survey No.17/1A3, Pathanavadi Village, Tirupattur Taluk, Vellore District, and was also in possession of 5 cents, and the petitioner prays for issuance of patta in respect of 0.5 cents of land, and in this regard, submitted representations dated 20.8.2012 and 4.5.2015, and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the representations, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 20.8.2012 and 4.5.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, within a period of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
