Though the prayer in the Writ Petition is a wider one, seeking to promote the petitioner to the post of Village Administrative Officer, the learned Counsel for the petitioner has now submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if his representation dated 06.01.2015 to the 1st respondent is disposed of in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.570, dated 26.12.2014, Employment 8(i) Revenue Department. 2.

In view of the narrow prayer now made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to pass order on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.570, dated 26.12.2014, Employment 8(i) Revenue Department, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs.
