ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to investigate the case in Crime No.12 of 2021 on the file of the District Crime Branch, Dharmapuri and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, Dharmapuri within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.12 of 2021 on 27.09.2021, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police is awaited for the FSL report and hence, the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5. Taking note of the fact that the FSL report is also awaited, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
